A collection of community-based organizations is working to let voters know both about candidates running for Portland City Council and how our new voting system works. Ballots for the November 5th election go out in less than one month! That’s why Team Tiffani is working so hard to reach voters, starting with our weekly canvasses and moving to our volunteer phoning and texting.

I remember vividly where I was on 9/11 when the Twin Towers came down, when the Pentagon was hit, when a field in Pennsylvania became a crash site. What I also remember is first responders running into the Towers to save who they could, many who died that day and also later lost their lives to illness caused by toxic exposure.
